Ali Krieger, a very successful right back plays for 1. FFC Frankfurt, and the U.S. Women's National Team. She speaks fluent German and English off of the field, but on the field speaks fluent football. This summer was Ali's moment to show everyone her talent on the biggest stage of Women's soccer.
In the 2011 WWC in Germany, Ali Krieger played her best soccer she has ever played. She ended up winning the game for the U.S. in their match against Brazil knocking in the last penalty kick to advance to the semi-finals against France. The U.S. sadly finished second in the tournament, but Ali was able to show everyone what she was made of, and finally got the appreciation she deserved.
